Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a black currant and black pepper bouquet with hints of coffee and stewed black plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. We also found it to be soft, satiny smooth, and it has a gentle mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a mild black currant and boysenberry blend with notes of baking spice and cinnamon. We also detected hints of dark chocolate and black tea. The finish is dry, and its mild dusty tannins and flavors stick around for quite a while. The Panel would pair this Cab with cowboy cut prime rib or a Cuban cigar. Enjoy – KWGTP
