Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Italian blend is a very good value. It opens with a black cherry and oak bouquet with hints of black plum and faint lavender. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty black cherry and red licorice blend with notes of cassis, oak, and cocoa. I also detected hints of fine minerality, dried herbs and a touch of blueberry. The finish is dry, and its well-managed dusty tannins are friendly and approachable. This wine paired perfectly with veal parmigiana at Carmine's. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Il Bruciato 2020 is an intense ruby red color. Its nose is intense and enticing with notes of currants, blackberries, delicate hints of vanilla and sweet spices. Excellent harmony on the palate where a fruity finish dominates and imparts good persistence and easy drinkability.
