Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Gris from Anne Amie is very good. It opens with a mild lime and pilsner beer like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and slightly acidic. The flavor profile is a pilsner beer with hints of minerality and gentle green apple. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This wine is very food friendly. I would pair this wine with steamed mussels. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Pinot Gris is an elegant expression of this versatile varietal. Intensely aromatic powdery floral notes give way to a palate of Asian pear, Meyer lemon and rose petal. Balanced and crisp, this wine is a great match for many dishes from chicken paella or moules-frites to pork roast. Suggested Food Pairings: roast chicken, mussels, apple glazed pork chop, grilled squash, pan seared trout.
