Wine Review: This Pinot Noir from Angeline is a deep ruby color. It opens with pleasant aromas of red plum and cherry-cola hints of vanilla and oak. On the palate, it is light to medium bodied. It displays cherry-cola flavors that fade away nicely. The finish is dry and has a hint of acidity with soft tannins and notes of gentle oak that show up. This Pinot is very easy to sip on and would pair nicely with pizza. - Karen & Stuart
Winemaker Notes: Angeline takes great pride in crafting wines that truly represent their varietals and appellations, and 2016 made this goal easily achievable. This dense, sophisticated Pinot Noir boastfully over-delivers aromas of fresh strawberries, wild raspberries, and spicy cherry cola. The bold, yet resolved palate has a clean, well-balanced acidity that ties up neatly with a complementary cream and caramel finish.
