Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Viognier from Andrew Murray opens with an inviting mango and apricot bouquet with hints of honeysuckle, banana and lychee. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and delicate. The flavor profile is a mild mineral influenced peach and mango blend with hints of lychee, sage and almond. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Viognier would pair well with scallops with apricot sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2019 vintage has all of the hallmark qualities of a proper Viognier...light, delicate, floral, honeyed, citrus...a stunning dry white wine. Production was once again tiny on this wine.
