Wine Review: This right ruby Malbec opens with a spicy red raspberry bouquet with a hint of blueberry as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a spicy blend of raspberry and black currant with a dash of black pepper mixed in. The finish is dry, tingly, and lingers slightly. We felt this very good value wine would pair well with barbecue baby back ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2007 Andeluna Malbec has a great body with roundness and elegance. Intense aromas of ripe plum, red currant, blackberry, cherry and vanilla with notes of raspberry, chocolate, and coffee combine with lush flavors of black currant and caramel to complement the sweet tannins and produce an exceptional wine with intense fruit notes and a long finish.
