Wine Review: This very pale white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Paso Robles opens with a very fragrant gooseberry and white grapefruit pith bouquet with hints of ginger and white pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous, bright, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a gooseberry and ginger blend with notes of lime and green tea. I also detected hints of tonic water and lime zest. The finish is dry and refreshing. I would pair the very good Sauvignon Blanc with grilled swordfish with a lime and basil marinade. Enjoy - Ken
