Wine Review: This refreshing and expressive Sauvignon Blanc is a straw color with aromas of grapefruit, nectarine, white florals, and sandalwood. I also picked up some hints of lemon and apple highlights. On the palate, it is medium bodied, with a wonderful silky texture and crisp medium acidity. There is good balance and brightness. I detected flavors of MacIntosh apple, lemon, saline and ginger along with a green grassy note. The finish is bright and extended. I would pair this versatile Paso Sauvignon Blanc with crab cakes. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc opens with fresh aromas of grapefruit, peach skin, and tropical papaya. The mouthfeel is beautifully textured with flavors of citrus, green apple, and pineapple wrapped around a varietal core of minerality and grassiness. Quenching acidity persists along a bright, tangy finish. The crisp, refreshing flavors of the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc make a perfect match for steamed clams, crab cakes, baked sole and grilled citrus chicken.
