Wine Review: This inky purple colored Zinfandel from Paso Robles opens with a black raspberry and smokehouse bouquet with hints of wet stone and mincemeat. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and zesty. The flavor profile is very fruit forward, featuring extracted boysenberry and blueberry blend with notes of black pepper. We also picked up some hints of molasses and tobacco. The finish is very dry, and its dusty tannins and fruit flavors linger and last for a very long time. We would suggest pairing this bold Zin with a cigar. Enjoy – Ken & Mark

Nose: Amazing! Bright berry fruit jumps from the glass. Brambly boysenberry, red raspberry, cherry, and spice. It’s all in there!!
On the Palate: Bright red berry fruit that turns rich with vanilla and spice. Boysenberry, red raspberry, cranberry that rolls to dark cherry laced with spice. A crazy spectrum of fruit that finishes with subtle toasted oak. Bramble all day!
