Wine Review: This ruby red colored red blend from Anarchy opens with a plum and rose petal bouquet with hints of wild strawberry and clove. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced , round and bright. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced red currant and stony minerality blend with notes of black coffee and mocha. We also detected some hints of toasty oak. The finish is very dry, and its moderate tannins linger and last for quite a while. We would pair this red blend with a slow cooked beef brisket.
