Wine Review: This inky purple colored Petite Sirah from Anarchy is excellent! It opens with a gentle black cherry bouquet with hints of river rock and raspberry tea. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and bright for a Petite Sirah. The flavor profile is a very tasty black licorice and black tea blend with notes of gentle graphite, oak, and mild blackberry. We also detected some hints of black pepper as well. The finish is dry, and its flavors and its well-managed dusty refined tannins stick around for a very long time. We would enjoy the impressive Petite Sirah by the fireplace or firepit!
