Wine Review: This deep purple colored Syrah from Anarchy is impressive. It opens with a fragrant acai berry, boysenberry, and cardamom bouquet. We also detected hints of black plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very well-balanced, velvety smooth, and approachable. The flavor profile is a very tasty acai berry and gentle dark chocolate blend with notes of blueberry and black tea. We also detected hints of vanilla and malted milk. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger and last for quite a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Syrah with a grilled leg of lamb or with roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Big mouthfeel right off the bat on entry, lush dark berry fruit. Layers of red and black woven into a gorgeous silken tannic structure laced with spice and black pepper that sits deep in the background. A lush creamy oak finish and lingering pepper notes.
