Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet was well received by the tasting panel. It opens with a black currant bouquet with a hint of blackberry, plum and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy going. The flavor profile is a mild cedar and mineral infused black cherry with hints of plum. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are rather sticky. The suggested pairing this very nice Cab with duck breast or a bison burger. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2008 Helena Montana Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine with intense and dense black-red color. Nose of blackberry and plum compote. On the palate, there is a rich and complex explosion of notes of tobacco, currants and white spice that is strong, heavy and lingering, with tannins that are still a bit closed. Very beautiful balance and long life. Age for 20 to 30 years.
