Wine Review: This dark yellow colored Chardonnay from Anaba is terrific. It opens with a Bosc pear, pineapple, honey and oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced and super-smooth. The flavor profile is a yummy pineapple and oak blend with notes of banana. I also detected hints of peach and vanilla. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity show nice length. This Chard would pair well with pumpkin ravioli with a parmesan sage cream sauce. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Lovely notes of tropical fruit complement, rather than overwhelm, a bouquet of lemon meringue, vanilla wafer, and winter citrus. Expressing a hint of minerality and a slight savory quality, the palate is both nuanced and familiar.
