Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from Anaba opens with an attractive red raspberry and plum bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced black cherry with notes of oak. I also detected hints of black pepper and blackberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show very nice length. This wine would pair well with a Brazilian skirt steak with golden garlic butter recipe. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Red Rhône-style blend is named for the iconic image of our wind turbine on the label. Captivating layers of dark fruits, dried herb, muddled blackberry, mulled spices and vanilla can be found in the bouquet. Rich tannins follow from mid palate to finish with enveloped flavors of vibrant, red fruits, sweet cranberry and very subtle fresh cracked pepper.
