Wine Review: This light red colored Pinot Noir from Anaba opens with pomegranate and strawberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and flavorful. Those flavors are a red raspberry and strawberry blend with notes of mild minerality. I also detected a touch of cinnamon and dash of black pepper mixed in at the end. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Pinot will be a crowd pleaser and will pair nicely with a frilled salmon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Layered aromas of blackberry, wild strawberry, Rainer cherry combine with scents of vanilla and cedar. Balanced tension and supple tannins complement this silky and smooth wine. Married flavors of raspberry, red plum and baking spices round out the palate.
