Wine Review: This opaque and very dark ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a fragrant ripe black cherry bouquet with a hint of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe black raspberry and currant blend with notes of black cherry. I also detected hints of oak and cola in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors are nicely prolonged. This Pinot would pair very nicely with a pork tenderloin with sage and fig. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Complex and beautiful layered aromas of plum, cherry and ripe strawberry combine with cola and cedar box. Nice tension and supple tannins complement this richly textured wine entwining flavors of juicy cherries, dried sweet cranberries and spice. It is bright and vibrant with a lasting finish.
