Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Amici opens with a spiced black plum and wet stone bouquet with hints of juniper, chocolate, and red currant. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and bright. The flavor profile is spiced black plum with notes of stone dust, black cherry and cinnamon stick. We also detected hints of raspberry tea. The finish is dry and quite refreshing for a Pinot.
