Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Syrah from Walla Walla opens with a mild black cherry and blackberry bouquet with hints of pencil shavings. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a mild blackberry and chalky minerality blend with notes of black plum and cedar. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins drift away nicely. This Syrah would pair well with a juicy bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
