Wine Review: This orangish colored Rosé from Amalaya is a friendly crowd pleaser. It opens with a mild red cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild strawberry and mild white peach blend with notes of minerality. I also detected a hint of green tea and faint red cherry. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Rosé would pair well with a cold shrimp dip in phyllo cups. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Floral attack, very subtle with orange blossom reminiscent which come from the Torrontés. Notes to cherries and strawberries typical from the Malbec. Very fresh. In mouth, refreshing entry, velvety and fruity. Medium body which preserves freshness and fruitiness. The final is fresh, elegant and the Torrontés floral notes outstand in a subtle way.
