Wine Review: This light pink colored Malbec based wine from Amalaya opens with a mild and shy red apple skin and watermelon bouquet with hints of raspberry. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is stony minerality and watermelon blend with notes of white pepper and saline. There are also hints of white peach and green tea. The finish is dry and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would suggest pairing this Rosé with chilled crab cocktail or with flounder with butter. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Floral attack, very subtle with orange blossom reminiscent which come from the Torrontés. Notes to cherries and strawberries typical from the Malbec. Very fresh. In mouth, refreshing entry, velvety and fruity. Medium body which preserves freshness and fruitiness. The final is fresh, elegant and the Torrontés floral notes outstand in a subtle way.
