Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Torrontes based blend from Salta opens with a lychee, white peach, and rose petal bouquet with hints of pink grapefruit and jasmine. On the palate, this wine is medium minus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, viscous, and bright. The flavor profile is lychee, lemon tea and almond blend with notes of lime and white peach. We also detected hints of yellow grapefruit, green herbs, and white pepper. The finish is tad off-dry and its flavors and acidity lingered nicely. The Tasting Panel would suggest pairing this very good value white blend with a poached cod in white wine or with shrimp pad Thai. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Shiny gold very limpid color. Citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon skins dominate the nose. In mouth, delicate and silky yet fresh and crisp with good acidity and a distinctive mineral note.
