Wine Review: If you are looking for a food friendly California styled Chardonnay, this one might be perfect for you. It is very bright yellow colored and opens with ripe pear and pineapple like bouquet with a hint of clementine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, rather elegant and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a delicate light lemon and apple blend with a hint of light toasted oak. The finish is dry and it fades away nicely. This Chard is very food friendly and would pair very nicely with a seafood casserole or clams casino. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Westside Farms again delivers a wine that is remarkably firm in stature, while at the same time delivering an abundance of fruit and texture. It is wildly refreshing on the palate, with an exotic array of mango, lime and honey supported by a fine streak of minerality. It all culminates and becomes succulent and juicy through the remarkably long finish. Have a glass of this with a fresh green salad and a grilled, medium-rare Alaskan halibut steak.
