Wine Review: This juicy, fruit driven Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina is a translucent medium ruby color. It displays aromas that include black plum, saddle leather, tobacco leaf, blackberry, smoked ham, and wet river stone. It is medium bodied with medium-plus acidity on the palate making it fresh and lively. There is a nice smooth mouthfeel with flavors of blackberry, mild oak, dried leaves, and coffee along with hints of black cherry and spicy black pepper. Light dusty tannins are present on the dry and moderate length finish. Serve with a grilled buffalo burger. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Deep red color with violet hues. Fresh red berries and cherry aromas, with a hint of violet. The wood notes present are delicate and integrated into the variety. On the palate, it is a fleshy and crunchy wine. Delicate notes of baking spice and a hint of cocoa on the finish. Good body, long, and precise.
