Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega is awesome! It opens with a cherry-cola and mild Canada mint bouquet with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and craisin. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is fantastically balanced, smooth, plush, and seamless. The flavor profile is a gentle stone dust and acai berry blend with notes of oak and black raspberry. We also detected hints of black tea, graphite, and mocha. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and refined tannins linger and last for a long time. The Tasting Panel would just enjoy this by the fire this winter. With food, we would pair this Cab with a Jiko's wild boar tenderloin. Enjoy – KWGTP
