Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega is excellent! It opens with a black currant, dried strawberry, and dark coffee bouquet with floral hints of roses and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, velvety smooth, seamless, and beautiful. The flavor profile is a black currant and black cherry blend with notes of stone dust and blueberry. We also detected hints of cinnamon, vanilla, and oak. The finish is dry, and its favors, acidity, and very well-managed refined tannins are nicely sustained. The Tasting Panel would pair this incredible Cab with a chateaubriand or Colorado rack of lamb. Enjoy - KWGTP
