Wine Review: This dark magenta colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with a black currant, black cherry and toasted oak bouquet with hints of vanilla, lilac, and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, very smooth, seamless, and approachable. The flavor profile is toasted oak and blueberry blend with notes of vanilla and black cherry. We also detected hints of graphite, tobacco, cinnamon, and cola. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and its moderate polished and refined tannins are nicely sustained. The Tasting Panel would sip this Cab on its own.
