Wine Review: This very dark purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega is terrific! It opens with a red raspberry and cedar bouquet with hints of faint peppermint, black cherry, and roses. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth, and suave. The flavor profile is a black currant and graphite blend with notes of plum and tobacco. We also detected hints of bacon, green olive, and clove. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins are very nicely sustained. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a well-marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
