Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with a mild black cherry and barnyard bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and dense. The flavor profile is black currant and graphite blend with notes of blueberry, mocha, and black tea. We also detected hints of black cherry and black plum. The finish is dry and its bold tannins build-up and stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would decant this Cab for a while before pairing it with a grilled hanger steak.
