Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from the Sunshine Valley Vineyard opens with a ripe black currant and blackberry bouquet with hints of dark coffee and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth and polished. The flavor profile is black currant and stone dust blend with notes of black cherry and oak. We also detected hints of black pepper and espresso. The finish is dry, and its fine-grained tannins are nicely prolonged. The Panel would pair this lovely Cab with a filet mignon with truffle butter. Enjoy – KWGTP
