Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Merlot based blend From Alpha Omega is very good! It opens with a blueberry and fig bouquet with hints of cherry and red raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is soft, balanced and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is gentle plum and black currant blend notes of oak. We also detected hints of stone dust, blackberry, and mocha. The finish is dry and its moderate managed tannins build-up and linger and last for quite a while. The Panel would pair this very approachable red blend with ribeye or a rib roast. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Nose: Wild cherry, blackberry, and hint of menthol. Chinese 5 spice, combo of black to red fruit, cedar!
Palate: Full bodied and concentrated with a great fruit core, graham cracker, worn leather, and sweet tobacco
Fruit is present all the way to the finish. Really showing well NOW!
