Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a green olive and blueberry bouquet with hints of black currant, pomegranate, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, dusty, and rich. The flavor profile is complex blend of oolong tea, menthol, and red currant with notes of green olive and blueberry. We also detected hints of red licorice, cedar, and a touch of dark chocolate in the after taste. The finish is very dry, and its dusty bold tannins stick around for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with grilled hanger steak or with braised short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: On The Nose: Exotic red cherries, pomegranates, lavender, fennel, tomato leaves, hoisin, and five spice.
On The Palate: Rich, red cherry, goji berry entry, lively, concentrated mid-palate, chalky, and fine tannic finish.
