Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from the Cordes Vineyard is Excellent! It opens with a ripe black cherry and gentle black plum bouquet with hints of boysenberry, and gentle new oak. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with nicely integrated gentle acidity. The mouthfeel is silky and very well-balanced. The flavor profile is a blend of black cherry and blackberry with layers of integrated of graphite and oak. We also detected hints of black licorice and stewed black plum in the mix. The finish is dry, and its moderate well-managed tannins build-up and are sustained for a very long time. The Panel would pair this impressive Alpha Omega Cab with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
