Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega was well received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a mild blueberry and blackberry bouquet with hints of red beets, plum and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, velvety and elegant. The flavor profile is a mild mineral influenced plum and black cherry blend with hints of spice, raspberry, and dark chocolate. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show finesse as they drift away. The Panel suggested pairing this very nice Cab with a filet mignon. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep, shiny dark cherry with touches of magenta on the rim.
On the Nose: Beautiful, elegant cedar with touches of thyme, sawdust, licorice, pine needles, plum, tapenade, sour cherry and lemon meringue pie.
On the Palate: Soft, velvety entrance evolving on beautiful fruit and fine tannins, lingering on boysenberries, dark cherries, mandarin orange, star fruit and wild raspberry.
