Wine Review: This very dark purple colored red blend from Alpha Omega is very good and sings to my palate. It opens with an inviting blueberry bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty blueberry and acai berry blend with notes of mild minerality, boysenberry and some oak in the background. The finish is dry and its refined tannins sail away nicely. This is a wine to be consumed and enjoyed in the near term with a filet mignon at your favorite steak house. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep, dark ruby colored with touches of Ferrari red on the rim. On the nose, beautiful notes of toasted brioche, granite and dark cherry with licorice, violet and paprika. On the palate, it is soft and has a balanced entrance evolving on a tannic frame with touches of cherry pit and plum lingering on creme de cassis.
