Wine Review: This opaque and midnight black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega was well received by the Tasting Panel. One panelist even called it charming. It opens with a toffee and cedar bouquet with notes of cherry-vanilla. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused black raspberry with notes of red plum and a hint of red cherry. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This wine paired well with the Manchego cheese we had. The Panel also suggested pairing it with an herb encrusted rack of lamb. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep, shiny dark cherry with touches of magenta on the rim On the Nose: Explosion of boysenberry, cassis and ash with touches of potpourri, macerated cherries, herbs de Provence and nutmeg On the Palate: Soft, velvety entrance evolving on dense but soft tannins with touches of plums and blackberries, lingering on clay and blueberry
