Wine Review: This midnight blue colored Cabernet Sauvignon finished in 2nd place in our recent Big Blind Tasting. It opens with a mild cherry and oak bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, layered and fruit forward. The flavor profile is black currant with notes of blueberry and vanilla oak. We also detected hints of nicely integrated minerality. The finish is dry and its tannins are sticky and linger and last for a very long time. The Panel suggested pairing this Cab with a ribeye steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Color: Deep, dark black cherry with hints of ruby on the rim. On the nose: Raspberries, blueberries, cassis and blackberries with touches of soap, violet and milk chocolate evolving on thyme, cedar and licorice. On the palate: Round, velvety entrance evolving on structured but granular tannins with hints of black cherry, plum and blueberry jam lingering on rose, wisteria, elderberries and huckleberries.
