Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Napa opens with a fragrant and appealing oak and lemon bouquet with a hint of apple. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, rich and savory. The flavor profile is a big oak influenced pear with notes of honey. I also detected a hint of orange as well. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This is a rich and an oaky Chard. Readers who really like this style are going to really enjoy it. I would pair it with lobster bisque. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: deep shiny yellow gold with touches of diamond On the nose: strong toasted Brioche with touches of creme brulee, caramel and dried apricot lingering on jasmine, mango and pineapple On the palate: soft entrance evolving on persimmon and pear with touches of white cherries, coconut and toasted marshmallows
