Wine Review: This northern Italian Chardonnay sits somewhere between Chablis and the Maconnais. On the nose, this wine has plenty of Granny Smith apple, minerality and hints of Asian pear. On the palate, this Chardonnay displays Gala apples, lemon zest and has touches of limestone along with some zingy acidity. The wine is well-balanced throughout, but it is best enjoyed with a slight chill. It would pair well with oysters and other shellfish. – Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Brilliant, clear, straw-yellow with a green hint. Delicate aromas that are fresh and fruity featuring peach, melon, and citrus and floral notes. Medium bodied and well-balanced. Mineral and juicy fruit flavors. Dry finish. Pair with all types of seafood, chicken or pasta.
