Wine Review: This deep yellow colored Manzoni Bianco is very nice. It opens with a pear and mild vanilla oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is a tasty creme brulee and lemon verbena blend with notes of gentle minerality. The finish is a bit off-dry and its flavors and gentle acidity drift away nicely. This wine would pair well with grilled scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2017 "Forra" is clear and intense gold-yellow colored. It is slightly aromatic with pronounced fruity quince, and spicy pear along with flintstone. On the palate, it is full bodied, concentrated and quite rich. It finishes fresh, spicy and dry. It is best to be drunk in 2 - 8 years from release. It would pair well with fish, clams, crab, and shrimp and poultry dishes.
