Wine Review: This pale white gold Sauvignon Blanc from Allan Scott opens with a fragrant gooseberry and grassy bouquet with hints of white grapefruit and fresh peas. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is fresh, bright, and zesty. The flavor profile is white grapefruit and saline blend with notes of lime zest and green apple. I also detected hints of chalky minerality, passionfruit, and white pepper.
