Wine Review: This light straw colored Chardonnay opens with a mild lemon bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, slightly sweet, and flavorful. The flavor profile is a tasty pear with nicely integrated mild oak and a touch of grapefruit. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. Joe and think this this Chardonnay would pair well with chicken francese. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: There are aromas of apple, pear, butterscotch, toasted oak and a little minerality in the glass. The 2012 has great balance with a creamy mouth-feel. There are tropical notes and flavors of apple, pear and citrus in the glass with just a touch of acidity on the finish.
