Wine Review: This slightly opaque and very dark ruby colored Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero is very good. It opens with a plum and new leather bouquet with a hint of wild rose. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is a cedar plank infused red raspberry and red cherry with hints of pomegranate and touch of clove. The finish is dry and its mild tannins fade away nicely. This very nice Tempranillo would pair very nicely with a German spring beet salad and knockwurst. Enjoy - Ken
