Wine Review: This midnight blue colored Tempranillo from Ribera del Duero opens with a pleasant mild blackberry bouquet with a hint of licorice and prune. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, rich and smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious mild blackberry with notes of black licorice, faint oak and minerality. I also detected hints of black plum and a bit of black pepper. The finish is dry and its tannins are sticky and linger for quite some time. This wine would be perfect with a well-marbled ribeye steak. I would enjoy this bottle with someone special who appreciate really good wine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Elegant mineral and black fruit with subtle wood spice on the nose. Silky mouthfeel, fresh and long, with lingering minerality.
