Wine Review: This very dark midnight blue colored Tempranillo from Spain opens with an inviting mild black cherry and blueberry bouquet with a hint of oak and new leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, a little juicy and very easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused black cherry with notes of oak. I also detected a hint of black currant as well. The finish is dry and its mild flavors and tannins slowly drift away. This wine would be perfect with coq au vin or pot roast with garlic and thyme. Enjoy - Ken
