Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a pomegranate and black plum bouquet with a hint of loam. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and silky. The flavor profile is a very tasty red plum and gentle pomegranate blend with integrated gentle loam. I also detected some hints of craisin and tea. The finish is dry, and its dusty fine tannins linger and last for quite some time. This Pinot would pair nicely with a duck confit crostini appetizer with fig. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This opens with fragrant notes of fresh raspberry, warm spices, and vanilla bean. On the palate it’s juicy and fresh yet complicated and deep. I just love the succulence of this wine. It’s quite delicious right now and I can’t wait to see where this goes in a few years.
