Wine Review: This light red colored Pinot Noir from Adelsheim opens with a light red raspberry bouquet with a hint of pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty smoky oak and ripe garden strawberry blend with notes of cola. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. The panel suggested pairing this very good Pinot with fresh sliced Norwegian salmon with a creamy dill sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine is both elegant and intense, offering layered aromas of red raspberries, fresh Oregon strawberries, brown spice and cedar. Its aromas are reflected on a palate that speaks of purity and elegance, and is exceptionally balanced with silky tannins and a persistent finish. This wine will pair beautifully with the Pinot noir classics - lamb, duck, grilled salmon, and aged cheeses.
