Wine Review: This light red colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a light cherry bouquet with hints of strawberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty mild red raspberry with notes of strawberry and hints of red cherry. It's a red berry punch. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and yummy flavors drift away nicely. This very nice Pinot is food friendly and would pair nicely with fresh sliced Norwegian salmon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This complex wine exhibits layered aromas of wild raspberries, spice and pain grille. On the palate, the wine shows firm acidity followed by hints of dark chocolate and a plush, velvety mouthfeel. It would pair wonderfully with grilled salmon, domestic and wild fowl, and other savory main dishes.
