Wine Review: This light straw colored Albarino opens with a fragrant lemon bouquet with the hint of banana and green apple. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, lively, bright and pleasantly acidic. The flavor profile is primarily lime with notes of pink grapefruit and gentle minerality. I also detected some hints of saline and a touch of mango. The finish is dry and very refreshing. I would pair this Albarino with a grilled swordfish sandwich. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A full-bodied, serious, dry Albarino similar to its sibling Morgadío incorporating wines made from the first pressing in a comparatively softer and more floral style.
