Wine Review: This straw colored Albarino opens with a mild grapefruit and wet stone bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused mild grapefruit and green apple blend with hints of beer, Bosc pear and quince. I also detected hints of white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite a while. I would serve this wine slightly chilled with a grilled weisswurst at a summer picnic. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A full-bodied, serious, dry Albarino similar to its sibling Morgadío incorporating wines made from the first pressing in a comparatively softer and more floral style.
